Couple of Frontiers Blog Sightings

The cool thing about this web 2.0 thing is that things are so much more connected, kind of like a…well…a web, I guess. Anyway, found a few links to a couple of blog links today so I thought I’d share on our site! First a write up about our Clarendon Grill show in March from the blog 8704 (with a few pics).

Second, the minor league ballpark industry blog Ballparkbiz.com did a nice write up about our performance at Bosse Field last month in Evansville IN. The show was part of a record setting attendance night (over 7,000) of the Evansville Otters.

If you see any other blog write ups or reviews about Frontiers or our shows this summer, feel free to post some links here!

To Huntsville AL & Chatt TN This Week!

Chris and Jeremey

What a month we’ve had so far! Since our last post we’ve rocked about 35,000 people in 3 weeks…Not a bad record for a tribute band! This week we are returning to Crossroads Music Hall in Huntsville for the first time since March 2009, and we are making our summertime trek to Chattanooga & Rhythm and Brews on Saturday.

Since Andrews Upstairs in Atlanta changed formats, we have been relatively homeless in Atlanta, so this weekend is a good chance for our friends in northern GA to make a trip to Huntsville or Chattanooga! Both are spectacular venues and we look forward to packing both rooms yet again.

Frontiers And sp[OIL]Ed campaign partner to protectourcoastline.org

Want to pass along an excellent way to directly assist families and communities impacted by the gulf oil spill. I had a great discussion with Nick Landry on Saturday about the sp[OIL]led campaign and protectourcoastline.org about ways Frontiers could help support an area that has been so supportive of Frontiers for the past several years. We are contributing a portion of our Saturday show in Houma to protectourcoastline.org, and we are encouraging our national friends and fans to raise their own awareness and contribute to this unique and worthwhile campaign. Please check out the campaign on Facebook, and visit www.protectourcoastline.org for more information!

Thanks Indiana! Next Stop, Louisiana!

Thanks to everyone who caught our shows this past week at the Evansville (IN) Otters baseball game and the Childrens Museum of Indianapolis! We had a blast and we’re looking forward to getting up there again soon. This week we are heading to the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City LA on Thursday, Nitetown in Lafayette LA on Friday, and City Club in Houma on Saturday! See you there!

Frontiers Announces Final Two Summer Dates

News from the booking department this morning is that we’ve just finished booking the final open dates during our summer season. Frontiers will be debuting at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC on Friday July 23rd, and continuing on to Freebird Live in Jacksonville Beach FL on Saturday July 24th. Complete summer tour dates can be found here.

Thanks to everyone who has checked out the video from Wildflower Festival on YouTube! We are on track to hit 1,000 views this first week. That’s amazing – Thanks to all who have helped spread the word!

Thanks, Texas!
